Strengthening of our international presence. The Applus+ brand gains visibility in the Middle-East

The close collaboration between Applus+ Norcontrol and Applus+ Velosi in the Middle East has recently enabled Applus+ Velosi to win some registers with relevant companies and organisations in the Middle East.
The relationship of close collaboration started between Applus+ Norcontrol and Applus+ Velosi in the Middle East, with the incorporation of Ernesto Fenellos on the Business Development work team in Abu Dhabi last September, begins to produce results. The references and experience of both companies have recently allowed Applus Norcontrol to win some registers with relevant companies and organizations in the Middle East.
 
Last October 29, the Environmental Agency of Abu Dhabi recognized the quality and experience of Applus+ Velosi by granting the registration as a “Class A Consulting Company” (the highest one), which authorizes us to develop Environmental Studies and Environmental Management Plans, Environmental Impact Studies, Strategic Environmental Assessment, Preliminary Environmental Inspections, Action Plans, Environmental Management on Works Plans and Operational Control Plans for industrial and infrastructure projects.
 
Afterwards, on November 6, the company FERTIL (Ruwais Fertilizer Industries) belonging to ADNOC, the largest oil company in the UAE, has valued the competence of Applus+ Velosi by enabling them in their registry to develop projects for Safety, Health and Enviromental Studies, Safety and Risk Assessment Studies, Consultancy Services for Environmental Management Systems, Occupational Risk Prevention Consultancy, Health and Safety Training and Environmental and Pollution Control Consultancy and Training.
 
In the same direction, it has recently been developed and submitted the relevant documentation for the registration and licensing in 57 sectors of the Department of Transportation of Abu Dhabi, organization responsible of the planning and managing of roads and highways, aviation, maritime transport, rail and public transport in the emirate of Abu Dhabi.
 
These recognitions and authorizations, as well as others that will begin shortly, allow us to improve the Applus+ brand visibility in Middle East, a constantly evolving highly competitive market.
