Applus+ in brief
Applus+ is one of the world's leading testing, inspection and certification companies.
The Company was created in Barcelona in 1996 within the Agbar Group. Following a period of geographic expansion, strong growth in revenue and profit and ownership changes, it was listed on the Spanish Stock Markets in 2014.
For the previous financial year that ended on 31 December 2016, Applus+ reported revenue of €1,587 million and adjusted operating profit of €141 million and employed approximately 19,000 people in 70 countries. Revenue generated from outside of the home country of Spain now accounts for 82% of the total.
