Applus+ IDIADA acquires Pi Innovo Ltd

Applus+ IDIADA took over the business and acquired assets of Pi Innovo Ltd
We are pleased to announce that on 8th July 2015, Applus IDIADA took over the business and acquired assets of Pi Innovo Ltd., a company based in Oakington, Cambridge, United Kingdom, which provides engineering services for the development of automotive electronics systems.
This takeover is an important step forward in our strategy to reinforce not only our operation in the United Kingdom, but also our electronics engineering capacity with the know-how and experience of a team of 30 people who have been developing customizable field-ready product platforms and providing integrated rapid prototyping solutions.
The operation also includes the license of use and distribution of Pi Innovo LLC's OpenECU® hardware and software products
Applus IDIADA has been established in the United Kingdom in Nuneaton since 2011, providing local testing and engineering services mainly in the brakes field.
The local facilities include brake dynamometer test benches and workshops for vehicle preparation and testing.
