Screening
The LRUT Pipe Screening System is a very efficient and effective method of rapid pipeline condition assessment.
The advanced LRUT System is designed for rapid screening of long lengths of pipe to detect external and internal corrosion as well as other forms of axial and circumferential metal degradation. It can be used on a wide variety of pipes including those that are insulated.
The tests can be done while the pipework is operational (in-service), so disruption and expensive “down-time” is minimized. Hundreds of metres of pipe can be inspected in a single shift and 100% thickness of the pipe wall is inspected during a test.
